Color Vision Deficiency

The inability to see particular colors or shades of a color is called color blindness or color vision deficiency. This disorder is extremely common in men. One in twelve men are color blind. However, color blindness is very rare in women. Only 1 in 200 females have color vision deficiency.The percent of the effected population is around 0.5% of females and 8% of males.
